Stage 1 of Carnation Elementary School's Alley Garden is underway! Log seats were donated and delivered by Abode Solutions. These will be used by students to sit on while in the garden. Next steps include reviving the soil, assessing and trimming current vegetation, and planting native plants. This garden will be used as a break space for students, a rest spot for teachers and staff, and a place of learning.

We happily welcome community involvement as we work towards various Eco School accomplishments. Do you want to join us? We are looking for small to medium river rock, mulch, and thick cardboard. Later this school year we will also be looking for volunteers for this and other projects. If you are interested, please contact Dani Geitzke at geitzked@rsd407.org.
